To know me, you first need to know my husband. He sleeps with one eye open. He checks the knife block to make sure none are missing. Why? It could be because we have four kids and a horse farm full of mischievous animals. Or it could be because I write thrillers and mysteries, and about the occasional woman who has lost her marbles (not based on my own psyche, I swear!). Don’t worry—my husband is safe…for now.

I make a living as an author and running an editing company at Proofed to Perfection Editing Services… and my specialty is helping aspiring authors reach their dreams (hey, there’s plenty of room at the table for all of us writers). My books range from witty whodunnits to psychological suspense and even humorous women’s fiction thrown in for good measure. I’m a USA TODAY bestselling author of over a dozen novels (who’s counting?), but my biggest accomplishment is keeping my zoo of animals alive…and my husband in check.
